The Everest International Clinic and Research Center (EICRC) is established 2004 in Kathmandu, Nepal. EICRS is a private National Research Center devoted to work on infectious diseases. The center is working on virus, bacteria and parasites. The research center is one in Nepal which has facility to work on molecular (Polymerase Chain Reaction) on infectious diseases. The center first time introduced Loop-mediated Isothermal Application (LAMP) for diagnosis for Mycobacterium species in Nepal. EICRC provides integrated package of molecular diagnostics; laboratory services, academic research, consultation and training services. The center has also focused on the health problems of foreigners in Nepal as well as Nepalese communities. The center is devoted to provide high level of care afforded to patients, and scientific research and information about health risks and prophylactic measures in Nepal.
